We have one cat left of three. Popeye. Other alternative monikers include Poppydonut, Poopanther, Popsy, Mrs Toenails, Little Beauty, Poppy, Fatty Sack, Baby.

Cats pretty much rule my life. I can’t even go on holiday for two days without worrying about the cat. Pathetic. I have encouraged her to sleep with us and now she wakes me many times in the night in order to get in and out of the bed – snack, sleep, snack, sleep. I don’t have any good night’s sleep anymore.  Parents moan about their sleep deprivation with a young baby. I never moan about mine as it’s a slight source of shame that I allow this to happen.
